She is a natural beauty famous for her healthy glow and sunny disposition. But Jessica Alba went from daytime drab to high-fashion vamp for a photo shoot in Hollywood Wednesday.

The 32-year-old actress arrived to the studio bare-faced in a T-shirt and sweats and later tweeted an Instagram of herself in a dramatic red pleated gown.

‘Played dress up 2day,’ the gorgeous mompreneur tweeted to her 6 million followers.

Once hairdresser Jen Atkin and make-up artist Beau Nelson got a hold of Jessica, she truly transformed into an exotic beauty.

The only sign that the Fantastic Four actress had gone glam was her face full of smoky eyeshadow and maroon lips.Alba has been busy promoting her new book The Honest Life, which is a guide to healthy living.

The book – which was released in March – sprung from her venture The Honest Company, which delivers eco-friendly baby-care products and household cleaners to families at affordable prices.

Jessica will next be seen in Machete Kills, due out September 13.
