And as his girlfriend Mila Kunis revealed a gold band on her engagement finger on Saturday, it seemed that the couple might well be planning on taking that step.
Dressed down actress Mila was spotted with the jewellery as she stepped out ahead of her brother’s wedding.
‘They want to have a baby now and it’s far more important to them than getting married,’ the insider told RadarOnline.com.
But more urgent on the agenda was deciding what church the kids would attend, and Mila ‘definitely wants children with Ashton and wants to raise them in her Jewish religion,’ said the pal.
