Zendaya has launched a collection with Boohoo – here’s how to wear the key pieces

Yesterday, your fashion dreams came to life in the form of Zendaya’s new clothing collection, Zendaya Edit, with Boohoo. The line – which was personally curated by Z herself – is packed with flirty crop tops, sleek streetwear, and cool-girl jackets.

Among the panic to buy everything in the entire collection, fans immediately noticed something off.

Boohoo had advertised that the line would include sizes 2-22, but one fan noted that on the actual website, there didn’t seem to be plus sizes available for every piece. The actress and singer has collaborated with Boohoo to create a lust-worthy edit of suits and separates in retro silhouettes offset by sporty accents.

She didn’t design the collection herself, but she’s had a huge say in her very own edit for the Manchester based clothing mogul – even alongside promoting her new film The Greatest Showman.

And we have to say, it’s really, really good. When it comes to being a Boohoo icon, a certain degree of sass and sexiness is needed but with her shaggy curls and perfect pout, Zendaya feels truly fresh.

The singer mixed a sense of laid-back cool, streetwear vibes and a touch of ’70s siren to create a really down-to-earth collection that appeals to every kind of girl. When asked what the secret to such a unique sense of style was she said, “I think the best thing about my personal style is I just don’t have one.”

If you don’t find it so easy to just throw things on like the fashion icon, then it’s safe to say that if you shop her edit, you’re guaranteed to pull together something good…but hurry, this stuff is selling out fast.

This is the suit that everyone is obsessed with. And no wonder – cut from lustrous satin and dyed in a pretty lilac hue, this shimmering set ticks all the trend boxes. Style it like Zendaya with high-top trainers and a tied-up T-shirt, or take things to new levels with a pair of heeled sandals and bandeau top.

You may not think it at first sight, but this maxi dress is so versatile. It feels feminine with it’s flouncy frills and satin stripes but ground it with trainers like Zendaya, and you have an unapologetically sassy streetwear piece. We’ll be wearing this in the winter too, layered over a turtleneck top and a pair of knee high boots.

We’re telling you, so many of these items will take you through spring/summer 2018 and beyond – that’s why this collection works so well, it’s very versatile. The pastel denim co-ords are super on-trend this season, but next year you can wear them as separates and try a totally new look.

This blue maxi dress takes inspiration from Dior’s Spring/Summer 2017 collection with it’s bra cups and webbing. It is ultra flattering and you can wear it alone (make sure to stick a slip on underneath), but it’s so much better used as a foundation for styling. Layer yours over a simple white T-shirt and belt the waist with a bumbag to achieve that Californian-cool Zendaya exudes.

The risk takern the actual website, there didn’t seem to be plus sizes available for every piece.
