Courteney Cox Experiments with the Viral Friends Face Filter — and Things Don’t Go as Planned

Courteney Cox is following the new trend.

As soon as she saw that there was a new Friends face filter on Instagram over the weekend, she could not help but play around with the app. When she wrote her own post, she went through the “faces” of all six Friends characters to make sure they were real. One of them was assumed to be hers.

Video: “There’s a new Friends face app.” Check it out.

Cox tries to see if David Schwimmer looks like Ross Gellar, but she doesn’t see it.

Cox, 57, tried to sound like him. “Really? I don’t look like Schwimmer at all.”

Next, the filter makes her look like Matt LeBlanc’s character Joey Tribbiani, so she looks like her.

“Joey. Hi! How are you? “:) “With an earring, I think it looks good. … or two.”

But when Cox doesn’t know what the third face looks like, she starts to question the filters.

“Hello,” she said. “I don’t know. Does this person look similiar to anyone else? I don’t know. Rachel? How do I know? I don’t know. A bad app? Yeah, this is the one I’ve ever seen, but it’s still not good.”

Still, she decided to finish the cast and try out Monica Gellar’s character, even though she didn’t like it. She was able to recognise her face quickly, but after seeing the filter’s eyebrows, she began to question her own abilities.

“Is this me? Okay, I think my eyebrows look a little different now that I think about it. Rachel? I don’t buy it, though “”She said.”

In this picture, Matt LeBlanc plays Joey Tribbiani, Lisa Kudrow plays Phoebe Buffay, David Schwimmer plays Ross Geller, Matthew Perry plays Chandler Bing, and Courtney Cox plays Monica Geller. Jennifer Aniston plays Rachel Green.

After going through the last two faces, she said, “Chandler has rosacea.” She then went back to her own character’s filter.

“I hate myself,” she said.

From 1994 to 2004, Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and Schwimmer all starred in Friends together.

In May of last year, the six stars of Friends reunited for an HBO special called Friends: The Reunion. They talked about some of their favourite memories from the show.
