Friends star Jennifer Aniston honours The Morning Show colleague after death

Jennifer Aniston, who played Gunnar Mortensen in the hit-and-run comedy Friends, paid tribute to her former coworker and friend, who died tragically in a motorcycle accident on July 4th.

The Morning Show featured Mortensen as a camera assistant in which Aniston co-stars with Reese Witherspoon.

As she wrote in a post to her Instagram Stories, “We lost Gunnar Mortensen this past week, suddenly and tragically. The star of our @themorningshow stage show. He was extremely competent and dedicated to being a camera assistant.”

The message reads on the GoFundMe page set up by IGC Local 600. “For Gunnar’s family, Local 600 has set up a GoFundMe page in his memory to raise money. If you can, please consider donating.”

So far, the page has raised $138,150, and donations are still coming in.
