Lisa Kudrow’s son was a young child when he first went to the Friends set. The actor who played Phoebe Buffay said that her son Julien often thought that her co-star Jennifer Aniston was his mother because he got close to her behind the scenes of the hit sitcom. Lisa Kudrow said this on US talk show host Conan O’Brien’s show: “He got a little confused. I know that he was really crazy about Jen.
“He would land in her lap. So, she is a love bug, which makes sense. And I was always happy for anyone Julien loved and was loved by. But then she would be on TV at home, and he would say, “Mommy!”
Even though Julien was crazy about Jennifer, he wasn’t a big Friends fan when he was younger.
Lisa Kudrow said, “I know he hasn’t seen every episode.” “I know that for a while, people watched it at school. And he felt like he had to do it so he could join in with what everyone else was watching. And he really did think that everyone else on the show was very funny.”
Julien did appear on the show, though. When Lisa was pregnant with him during the fourth season, Phoebe became a surrogate for her brother and his wife. This was written into the storyline. Lisa recently shared a rare picture of Julien on Instagram for his 23rd birthday. “Happy Birthday, Juls!!! she said.
Lisa and her Friends co-stars got back together last month for a special that will air in the coming months.
At the TV special, she, Jennifer, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer will talk about their favourite parts of the sitcom, which ran from 1994 to 2004.
