Friends’ stars may have reunited for a reunion special last year, but many fans are still hoping for a full-fledged new show.
Star Lisa Kudrow has now said that there won’t be one. If there were a new cast, she would love to see them.
On the show, Phoebe Buffay said: “I think it’s a good idea.” “I don’t think there will be a new Friends movie.
Not with any of us in it, but if it’s a reboot, do you mean they hire new actors?
If that’s what she meant, Kudrow said she would like to see that, adding: “I’d like to see how that would look now. Not in it. I’d love to see what that would look like.”
Actors like Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, and David Schwimmer were back together last year for a reunion special. The actors talked about their time on the show, which is still one of the best-loved TV histories.
It was during the special that the Phoebe star talked about a possible relaunch, admitting: “It’s all up to Marta [Kauffman] and David [Crane]. I once heard them say, and I agree, that they ended the show very well.
“They would have to untangle those good things to make stories.”
It was also recently revealed that Aniston had to leave the set several times because their reunion so moved her.
There were many “jarring” things going on, and “of course, there were a lot of cameras around,” she said. “A little bit of my heart is already out there, so I had to leave at certain points. None of this makes sense to me.”
