Courteney Cox has always been there for Lisa Kudrow, both in good times and bad. People say that Kudrow told Howard Stern about how she was dealing with the death of her mother, who died in February 2020 from COVID-19. Even though it was a very hard time for her, Kudrow said that her friends Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston were there to help her get through it. “These women ran to help, which was great,” the actor told Stern (via People).
Even though they are like family, Kudrow was still surprised that the women were able to get there so quickly and at the start of the pandemic. “They came to the funeral, even though they didn’t have much notice,” she said.
When Kudrow’s mother died, Cox was there to comfort her, but the “Cougar Town” star had no idea that she would be going through the same pain in less than a year. The actor said on Instagram that her mother died in December 2020, just 10 months after Kudrow’s. At the one-year mark, she wrote, “Missing my sweet moma.” Cox and Kudrow have more in common than most people realise.
