Melissa Rauch was the last actor in “The Big Bang Theory” opening credits. In Season 3, she played Penny’s friend Bernadette Rostenkowski, whom she sets up with Howard. Because Melissa Rauch joined the show late, she missed out on the per-episode salary, royalties, and profits that most of her castmates would have enjoyed, so she made $30,000 an episode. A clause raised it to $100,000 over time. Melissa earned $450,000 per episode in the show’s final two years.

Mayim Bialik’s finances grew after The Big Bang Theory.

According to Variety, that salary went toward a $6.87 million Los Feliz home.

Johnny Galecki returned to TV a decade after playing David Healy on “Roseanne” as Sheldon’s patient roommate Leonard Hofstadter in “The Big Bang Theory.” According to The Hollywood Reporter, Galecki negotiated a new contract with CBS in 2014. “Big Bang” was the most-watched comedy on the most-watched network so Galecki could ask for $1 million per episode for seasons 8-10. His per-episode rate of $350,000 jumped significantly. In the show’s final two years, the actors’ pay dropped to $900,000 per episode to help raise Melissa Rauch and Mayim Bialik. (But he still gets a cut of all future episode profits.)
