Rowling chose to sit out the HBO Max special “Return to Hogwarts,” which commemorated the Sorcerer’s Stone and the 20th anniversary of “Harry Potter,” which reunited “Harry Potter” stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint.
