“Harry Potter” fans are stunned by Josh Herdman’s transformation in The Games.

The transformation of Harry Potter actor Josh Herdman has left fans shocked.

The actor, who rose to fame as Gregory Goyle in the blockbuster film series, is a contender on ITV’s The Games this week, and fans can’t get over his physical transformation as they watch the 34-year-old compete against 12 other famous individuals. Indeed, the Robin Hood actor has matured since his days as one-half of Draco Malfoy’s Slytherin sidekicks, Crabbe and Goyle (Tom Felton).

To the amazement of many, Herdman now works as a cage fighter and has the appearance to match.

Following his second-place finish in the 400-meter dash behind Love Island’s Wes Nelson, Herdman’s name was all over the social media as fans reacted to his new appearance.

A follower tweeted: “Jesus Christ, Josh Herdman. How did he become such a handsome man? OOF!”

“Josh Herdman is in decent shape now,” remarked another.

Other observers remarked that the actor’s green ensemble appeared to be a subliminal reference to Harry Potter’s Slytherin house.

“What are the odds that Josh is wearing green? I believe not, “one spectator mused. Also, kudos to whoever put Josh Herdman in green,” said another.

After his work on Harry Potter, Herdman turned to martial arts and cage fighting as a technique to overcome anxiety. In April 2016, he made his debut as an amateur MMA fighter.

The Games put the athlete’s fitness to the test as he competes alongside 11 other celebrities in live sporting activities.
The athletes have endured weeks of rigorous training in preparation for various sporting competitions in the athletics stadium, swimming pool, gymnasium, and velodrome.

All have been coaxed out of their comfort zones to be trained like athletes, swimmers, and cyclists, hoping to top the medals table and be proclaimed the competition’s victor.
