This Is How Barney Stinson can Cameo in HIMYF!

Season 2 of How I Met Your Father is set up to include cameos from HIMYM’s original characters. As a spinoff of How I Met Your Mother set in the same universe, one of the most significant issues moving into How I Met Your Father was how Sophie’s tale would link to Ted’s. However, How I Met Your Father made subtle tributes to the adored original characters from the start, with a few HIMYM performers returning in the spinoff’s first season. Fans were excited to see Barney Stinson’s cameo because the character is loved worldwide. Since Barney is now going through the process of redemption, this makes everyone curious about his current moral standing.

This Is How Barney Stinson can Cameo in HIMYF!

Some of the earliest speculations regarding Barney Stinson’s (Neil Patrick Harris) cameo on How I Met Your Father suggested that he might appear as a one-night stand for Sophie. However, this wouldn’t necessarily be authentic to his HIMYM conclusion, in which he valued fatherhood over womanising. Instead, the cameo appearance of Barney in How I Met Your Father season 1 was already planned out in a way that is tied to Ellen.

Ellen takes a job at Goliath Corporation near the conclusion of the first season of How I Met Your Father. There is a strong possibility that this company is related to Barney and Marshall’s previous employer, Goliath National Bank. Even though Barney exposed GNB for its unethical business practices after HIMYM season 9, he may still be┬áconnected to the company. This would make it possible for him to make a cameo appearance in How I Met Your Father season 2 when Ellen starts working in Goliath’s organic supermarket sector.

Although the guest appearance of Robin Scherbatsky surprised the fans, and they all loved it, we all are waiting here for the other main casts. Hopefully, we’ll get to see more of them in season 2!
