How I Met Your Mother Star in Lord Of The Rings: The Ring of Power
Nazanin Boniadi will be seen as Bronwyn in Amazon studios’ next upcoming fantasy series Lord Of The Rings: The Ring of Power. She played the role of Nora on How I Met Your Mother. The three movies based on J.R.R. Tolkien’s books are The Lord of the Rings film trilogy and The Hobbit. This series is a spin-off of those movies. The events in The Rings of Power happen a thousand years before the events in The Hobbit movies. This makes The Rings of Power a prequel to The Hobbit movies.

Bronwyn is a human, a mother and a healer in the Southlands, where she also owns and runs an apothecary. A fan website says that Bronwyn was made up for the TV show, even though no one knows if she was in Tolkien’s books first.

Boniadi is both Iranian and British. She is an actress and a political activist. Her performance as Leyla Mir in the medical drama General Hospital was her big break.

Boniadi has also played Nora on the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother, Fara Sherazi in Homeland, Esther in the historical drama Ben-Hu and others too. Boniadi was born in Iran, but her family moved to the United States when she was a child.
As fans of the both shows, we can’t wait to see her in her new role.
