Where are the cast of “How I Met Your Mother” Now?

The gang’s all here! How I Met Your Mother was a pop culture phenomenon during its nine-season run and in the years that followed. It’s also a series that has brought about as many laughs as it made tears.

Josh Rander

Ted Mosby, played by Andor, was an architect who lived with his best friends, Robin, Marshall, Lily, and Barney, in New York City. Fans cheered for the character who was the most likable and who was determined to find true love in the big city.

Cobie Smulders

The actress played Robin Scherbatsky, a badass TV reporter who was also proud to be Canadian. Scherbatsky used to be a child pop star under the name Robin Sparkles, which blew the minds of her crew (and ours).

Neil Patrick Harris

Need a sidekick? Harris played Barney Stinson. He was your guy. The ladies’ man always carried a suit and lived by the bro code, which says, “Bros come first.”

Alyson Hannigan

Hannigan played Lily Aldrin, one half of the show’s most famous couple. She played a kindergarten teacher who became an art consultant for The Captain. Marshall “Marshmallow” Erikson was her husband, and they had a son, Marvin, and a daughter, Daisy.

Jason Segel

Marshall Erikson is crazy about his Lilypad. Segel, who plays the other half of the show’s most famous couple, lived with Ted Mosby while both were college students at Wesleyan University. Erikson started as a corporate lawyer in New York City. He became a judge on the New York State Supreme Court.

Cristin Milioti

After many seasons of suspense, Tracy McConnell, played by Milioti, was confirmed to be Ted Mosby’s wife and the mother of their 2 kids. Fans eventually discovered that McConnell had died of an illness they didn’t know about. This made Mosby tell his kids the story of how he met their mother. (It also set off one of the most controversial series finales ever.)

Lyndsy Fonseca

Fonseca played Penny, the daughter of Ted Mosby and Tracy McConnell. She later played Allison in the TV comedy RePlay and Angie Martinelli in the action series Agent Carter.

David Henrie

The son of Ted Mosby and Tracy McConnell was played by Disney star Henrie, who most recently acted in and directed the comedy. This Is the Year that comes out in 2020.
