WWE 2K22 Shows a Deep Dive Into MyGM, or Shane McMahon Is Still In There

Two years after the disastrous launch of WWE 2K20, the series is preparing to return via WWE 2K22. If you preorder the Deluxe Edition, the new and improved installment in the WWE 2K series hits multiple platforms on March 11, 2022, or three days before that. As those dates approach, 2K is starting to ramp up the info it’s willing to reveal about the game.

GM Mode Is Back

One of the most exciting new elements, which will have already won over many people planning on picking up a copy, is MyGM. The reimagined take on SmackDown vs. Raw’s incredibly popular GM Mode. Assume the role of the booker rather than the wrestlers and effectively play a wrestling game crossed with a wrestling sim.

Spend That Budget Wisely

As the trailer avoids mentioning Shane beyond showing him on-screen, Stephanie explains how exactly MyGM will work. You will be given a budget and then tasked with drafting your very own roster. You’ll need to keep an eye on your funds and try not to spend them all during the draft as you’ll need them for other things, like signing legends, after the fact.
