It’s no secret that Kaley Cuoco, star of The Big Bang Theory, dazzles on the red carpet ( I mean, look at the material). And she didn’t disappoint when she showed up at the 18th Annual Brandon Tartikoff Legacy Awards.
The 36-year-old actress was a sight to behold at the Los Angeles event on June 2, honoring the finest of the best in the television industry. She wore a black ankle-length pleated halter gown with a floral design and black slingback kitten heels.
Her golden locks had separated down the center and fashioned in loose beachy waves to complete her gorgeous appearance. Her gown was complemented by her makeup, which consisted of neutral browns and golds with a burst of coral blush flushed on her cheeks and lips for a glowy natural effect.
The dinner will also recognize Whoopi Goldberg, William Shatner, Amy Poehler, Alex Kurtzman, and Maury Povich, among others. Channing Dungey, chairman of Warner Bros. Television Group, and producer Jeff Sagansky were also honored at the occasion.
In an interview with W Magazine, Kaley discussed how her style has grown from her time on Big Bang Theory as a 21-year-old wearing more revealing “booty shorts and juicy couture zip-ups” to what she feels most comfortable in now.
“I was gorgeous at 21, and I wanted to flaunt it. I had not caught dead in a seductive cat costume right now, “she stated. “And as the years passed, Penny and Kaley grew up. ‘How about a slack,’ ‘how about a loafer,’ ‘I never want to see that high heel ever again,’ all of a sudden, like [I’ll wear] sort of like a long sleeve shirt,’ ‘how about a slack,’ ‘how about a loafer,’ ‘I never want to see that high heel ever again,'”
Although Kaley now prefers comfort, she doesn’t seem to mind taking a risk with her style. Whether in a pair of short shorts or a brilliant yellow sequined mini dress. And I’m looking forward to seeing what she wears next.
