Why Some Big Bang Theory Fans Were Upset With The Ending

When thinking about popular sitcoms of the past few decades, “The Big Bang Theory,” which ran for 12 seasons and produced a whopping total of 279 episodes, likely comes to mind. Created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady,” The Big Bang Theory” premiered on CBS in 2007 and aired its series finale in 2019.

The series centers on the lives of several scientists and their friends  living in Pasadena, California. The show’s cast of characters includes physicists Leonard Hofstadter (Johnny Galecki) and Sheldon Cooper Jim Parsons, aerospace engineer Howard Wolowitz Simon Helber), and astrophysicist Raj Koothrappali Kunal Nayyar  all four of whom are colleagues at Caltech. Rounding out the show’s original main cast is Leonard and Sheldon’s neighbor.

Penny Kaley Cuoco, an aspiring actress who works as a waitress. As the series went on, more main characters were introduced as well, including important female figures like Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) and Amy Mayim Bialik.

Finally, one fan argued that the Big Bang Theory series finale would have been nearly perfect without Penny’s contradictory storyline. “That was the only disappointing part of this episode. It’s rare to see intentionally child free characters find fulfillment.
